Il vincitore del concorso Meravigliosa Napoli potrà mostrare a tutti la sua “Napoli nascosta”, quella insolita, lontana da ogni stereotipo o déjà vu e non lo farà nelle tradizionali gallerie d’arte, ma in quelle underground frequentate ogni giorno da migliaia di utenti.
Sono le gallerie che si snodano per decine di chilometri attraversando l’intera città e la sua Provincia, sempre affollate di gente che guarda, osserva, ammira, s’incuriosisce e che poi racconterà ad amici e conoscenti le cose viste, diffondendole in maniera virale. Ciò avverrà sul circuito televisivo Videometrò News Network (www.vnn.it) presente nelle principali stazioni della metropolitana di Napoli e del sistema di metropolitana regionale. In particolare le immagini verranno trasmesse quotidianamente, in modalità random e per un mese, nelle stazioni di metropolitana, funicolari cittadine, cumana, circumflegrea e circumvesuviana raggiungendo circa 300.000 viaggiatori ogni giorno. I partecipanti dovranno realizzare un progetto fotografico composto da 10 immagini e quindi sceglierne una, due o tre da inviare per il concorso. In caso di vincita l’intero lavoro dovrà essere già disponibile per poterlo inserire dal 15 giugno al 15 luglio nel circuito televisivo di Videometrò News Network. |
The winner will show everybody a “hidden Naples”, far from the commonplaces or déjà vu, and it will be not in the usual galleries. It will be in the underground, where thousands of people go back and forth every day.
They are the galleries spanning for miles in the underground through the whole city and its greater area, always crowded with people taking a look, or staring and then telling friends and spreading the word. Videometrò News Network (www.vnn.it) will air it, as it is present in the most important stations of city and greater area network. The images will be displayed on its monitors on a daily basis for a whole month in the stations of the underground, cable railways, cumana, circumflegrea, circumvesuviana lines, reaching about 300.000 travellers a day. Contestants will set up a portfolio made of 10 images, choosing among them up to three to submit for the contest. In case of win the full artwork must be available in order to be displayed by Videometrò News Network from 15 June to 15 July. |

L’artista Keith Haring, divenuto famoso per i graffiti disegnati nelle stazioni della metropolitana di New York, fu più volte arrestato per aver imbrattato quei muri. Oggi i suoi disegni sono tra i più quotati nel mercato dell’arte contemporanea.
